Developing Legal Skills for Legal Affairs Officials in Healthcare Facilities

The activities of Day One of the training program titled “Developing Legal Skills for Legal Affairs Officials in Healthcare Facilities” officially commenced today. The program is implemented by Frontier Libya for Training and Consulting and targets directors and officials of legal affairs offices within healthcare centers affiliated with the Ministry of Health of the Libyan Government.

The program aims to enhance legal performance efficiency, strengthen the role of legal affairs offices in supporting decision-making, and promote effective governance practices within healthcare facilities.

The first day covered an introductory overview of the legal framework governing the health sector, with a focus on the unique nature of legal work within healthcare institutions. Key topics included the most important legislation regulating medical and administrative work, as well as the role of legal affairs departments in addressing daily legal challenges and ensuring the integrity and compliance of procedures.

This training program comes as part of Frontier Libya’s continued implementation of the strategic agreement with the Ministry of Health, which aims to build institutional capacity and develop the competencies of professionals working within the healthcare sector.
